Hooked on performing magic since the age of six, Matt has gone on to become one of the busiest full-time professional entertainers in the country, traveling nationwide to help clients like Bank of America, Ocean Spray, Pepperidge Farm, MIT, Mohegan Sun Casino, Catch A Rising Star Comedy Clubs and numerous private party planners, resorts and performing arts centers make their events, large and small, memorable and impressive!

An experienced magician and clean comedian, Matt Roberts is an easy-to-work-with professional who tailors his performances to fit a diverse collection of repeat clients and venues. In 2010, he created a unique magical concert experience called, Music & Magic, which he now performs annually at Boston's 2500-seat Symphony Hall, home of the Boston Pops.

Matt has been a guest on NBC's Today Show and is the host of the prime-time television series, All Things Connecticut on CPTV, Connecticut Public Television. Since 2008 he has also appeared regularly at the 10,000-seat Mohegan Sun Arena as the official host/emcee for the WNBA's Connecticut Sun and WNBA All-Star Games, using his humor, magic and audience interaction skills to make commercial breaks, time-outs and half-time more fun!

Also an experienced actor with many professional stage and on-camera credits, Matt holds a B.A. in Theatre and began his career starring as the magical host of Sesame Street Live: Elmo's Coloring Book on a two-year, 600-performance tour that put him onstage alongside the beloved Muppets in front of huge crowds at Madison Square Garden and venues in 31 states and 13 countries. Also in the 'dream-come-true' file, Matt is on the performer roster at The Jim Henson Company and has been fortunate to work closely with composer Paul Williams and Jim Henson's son, Brian, on several special projects.

          Matt Roberts has had his work published in MAGIC Magazine, recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest-selling magic periodical in the world and by The Chicago Tribune as one of the 50 Best Magazines in the country. Providence College honored him as Professor For a Day in 2010 when gave a special lecture at the school about magic, marketing and living your dream.

          Matt is different from other entertainers, performing magic and original presentations that can't be seen anywhere else.  He has been awarded for his creativity in the Rand Woodbury International Illusion Design Contest and the Outside The Box Contest sponsored by Creative Magic LLC. He even invents magic for other magicians!

Matt is a member of the Society of American Magicians, the world's oldest magic organization whose members also include Lance Burton, Siegfried and Roy, David Copperfield and former president of the society, Harry Houdini. All of Matt's performances carry a $2 million insurance policy through the S.A.M.

Whether he is having fun with a volunteer from the audience, making everyone laugh with some hilarious situation comedy or astounding people with his incredible magic, Matt's goal is to make you look good by presenting a performance that everyone will love and remember for a long time.
